Jiva

Jiva, named after the sanskrit word for "soul," has journeyed through 24 countries on 5 continents, spreading her message of the Celebration of Life and Respect for Mother Earth. Her troupe was chosen to represent the United States in the International Theatre Festivals of Brazil and Costa Rica, as well as the "Drumming in the New Millennium" concert in Egypt. The troupe has travelled through 49 American states, Europe, and Mexico, performing her original songs and plays, as well as exotic music and dance from around the world.


Jiva appeared in the major motion picture "Brenda Starr", with Brooke Shields and Timothy Dalton, performing as "Circo Esperanza." Jiva, "Queen of the Gypsies," has entertained with her troupe at numerous Renaissance Festivals throughout the U.S. for 15 years. Jiva has recently created "The Goddess Revival," celebrating the Divine Feminine and empowering the Goddess within. Her book, "Swatura: Gypsy Tales of Passion and Freedom, " and her music, "The Wisdom Returns," "Jivamukti," and "Patshiva!" have met with international acclaim.

From wild Gypsy dancers to angelic Goddesses, from flaming torch revelers to savage drumming, we will work with you to create special events that bring your dreams to life. We also provide performance/workshop packages where audience members have the opportunity to take classes in the exciting arts they've seen on stage, with such titles as "Primal Rhythms," "Chanting for the Earth," and "Dancing to Free the Spirit."
