In the beginning is the Goddess

Through her heart the Flame of Life arose,

and it is this flame which we seek to rekindle

When we dance her praise and sing her name

Her Wisdom doth return

Rise up Spirit of the Fire

Shiva Shakti ride the Snake

Rise up Spirit of the Water

Move our Bodies, make 'em shake

Rise up Spirit of the Four Winds

Flow through us and make us whole

Rise up Spirit of the Mother

Lift us to the Rhythm of the Soul

Sisters dance! Nights entranced

The Fire of Love yet burns

Come Flame of Wisdom!

Come flame of Freedom!

The Goddess has returned
